Overview

Smart Fuel works with creators who value honesty, transparency, and responsible promotion.

These guidelines are designed to help you create content confidently while staying within advertising and supplement guidelines. These guidelines are required to be followed when creating content about Smart Fuel.

1. Share Real Experiences

We encourage you to share your authentic experience using Smart Fuel.

Examples of acceptable statements:

  • “This helps me stay focused during work.”

  • “I like using this when I need extra productivity.”

  • “I feel more dialed in when I use this.”

Speak from your personal experience, not as a guarantee for others. Individual experiences may vary.

2. Avoid Medical Claims

Smart Fuel is a dietary supplement, not a drug.

Do NOT:

  • Claim it treats, cures, or prevents any disease

  • Reference medical conditions (ADHD, depression, anxiety, etc.)

  • Compare it to prescription drugs

Examples NOT allowed:

  • “This replaces Adderall”

  • “This treats ADHD”

  • “This cures brain fog”

3. Use Appropriate Benefit Language

You may describe general benefits such as:

  • Supports focus and productivity

  • Helps provide clean energy

  • Supports mental clarity

  • Helps you stay motivated

Keep statements general and experience-based, not medical.

FDA Disclaimer

When making structure/function claims (e.g., supports focus, helps with productivity), you must include the following disclaimer where appropriate:

“These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”

4. How to Talk About Usage

Stay generally aligned with the product label while sharing your personal experience.

Common approaches:

  • Start with 2 capsules

  • Up to 4 capsules daily

  • Many people take it mid-morning

  • Some split between morning and early afternoon

You may also say:

  • “Find what works best for you”

  • “Adjust based on your needs”

Avoid recommending excessive use or late-day use.

5. Stimulant Awareness (Keep It Smart)

Smart Fuel contains caffeine and other active ingredients.

We recommend avoiding combining it with:

  • Energy drinks

  • Pre-workout supplements

  • Other high-caffeine products

You can communicate this in a helpful, responsible way.

6. FTC Disclosure (Required)

If you receive compensation, free product, or commissions, you must clearly disclose your relationship.

Examples:

  • #ad

  • #affiliate

  • #sponsored

  • “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link”

Disclosures must be clear, visible, and easy to understand.

7. Be Honest and Accurate

  • Do not exaggerate results

  • Do not fabricate experiences

  • Do not make misleading or unsubstantiated claims

8. Represent Yourself Clearly

Do not imply that you are:

  • A Smart Fuel employee

  • A medical professional (unless you are one and properly disclose it)

Do not suggest that Smart Fuel makes medical claims.

9. Audience Responsibility

Do not promote the product to individuals under 18.

Avoid content involving illegal activity, unsafe behavior, or inappropriate material.
